Mack previously worked as an Assistant
District Attorney for the Augusta Judicial Circuit.
As an Assistant District Attorney, Mack was responsible
for a wide variety of cases. He has prosecuted Murder,
Rape, Child Molestation, Theft, Drug Cases (Cocaine,
Methamphetamines, Marijuana) as well as other felony
offense cases.
Former Assistant Solicitor General
Mack also previously worked as an Assistant Solicitor General for Richmond County. As an Assistant Solicitor, Mack prosecuted many DUI cases. While working there, he also prosecuted Family Violence, Battery, Theft by Shoplifting as well as other types of misdemeanor offenses.

About Mack
Mack grew up working in his step-father's law office. Mack's step-father was Herbert Kernaghan Jr. Judge Kernaghan practiced law for more than 30 years in the Augusta area. Prior to his passing, he served as Augusta's first full-time juvenile court judge. In that capacity he was the Chief Judge of Juvenile Court for the entire Augusta Judicial Circuit. Mack developed a passion for the law watching and learning from Judge Kernaghan.
Mack, like Judge Kernaghan, has dedicated his practice to personal service and no nonsense representation in the areas of Domestic Law, Personal Injury, Criminal Defense, Trial Practice, as well as other practice areas.
Mack's father is Ron Taylor. Ron retired from the Aiken County Sheriff's office after more than 20 years of service. Ron, currently while retired, works as a process server in Aiken County and other parts of South Carolina.
Mack was raised in the Augusta area and attended Westside High School in Augusta.
After graduating from Westside, Mack attended Augusta College, now Augusta State University.
After college Mack attended Ohio Northern's Pettit College of Law where he received his juris doctor degree.
Mack is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, and the Augusta Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in all State and Superior Courts in Georgia. He is also admitted to practice in United States District Court for the Southern District of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Georgia.
Mack and his wife and two children attend Curtis Baptist Church of Augusta.
